Stephanie Baumhover joined Optimae LifeServices in August 2019 as an intensive psychiatric rehabilitation (IPR) practitioner. In October 2020, she continued advancing her career by becoming a licensed master social worker (LMSW). Stephanie transitioned to a therapist on the Optimae Behavioral Health team in June 2021 and earned her licensed independent social worker (LISW) designation in 2023.
Stephanie’s primary experience is working with people facing mental health challenges using a holistic technique focusing on all aspects of life to promote hope. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based to empower customers to recognize their personal tools and abilities. Stephanie enjoys working with all ages in both one-on-one settings as well as groups. She values providing a safe environment for her patients to feel empowered to be their authentic selves, an environment full of inclusivity and equity.
Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa.
