At Optimae LifeServices, our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) team works to provide every individual with a sense of belonging and the tools to thrive. We are steadfast in our authentic commitment to generate meaningful and impactful change in our company and communities. By adopting an always-intentional and ever-evolving educational approach in our anti-discriminatory work, we embrace our core values; above all, respect.
If we are to care for our customers, our communities and our families, we must take care of ourselves and one another. Since 2021, Optimae has partnered with the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative to promote a culture of wellness within our workforce. Wellness Champions are selected across Optimae’s regions and divisions. Monthly objectives are created. Champions then work together with colleagues to promote wellness events, activities, habits and routines into everyday work life. For these efforts, we were recognized by the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative organization with a Large Workplace Award.
Our Knowledge Acquisition & Transfer (KAT) team is a trusted resource that supports Optimae employees in building competencies by offering dynamic education and personal development. Always changing and adapting, KAT creates training containing effective tools to provide successful person-centered services.
Leadership training includes the Optimae Leadership Institute, annual leadership conference, bi-annual NADSP Frontline Supervisor Competency training, Captivate and Educate, monthly lunch and learns, an extensive online training library and DEIB-specific training.
I’ve been here a long time. I started with minimal experience but they believed in my abilities to learn and grow. I would describe the culture at Optimae as creative, dynamic and energetic. At the same time, it is caring, comforting and accepting. I feel and believe that I am appreciated and valued.
