Occupational Therapist, Clinical Supervisor

Sharon Lane, MOT, OTR/L, CWMF, is a registered occupational therapist who brings a passion for helping people achieve independence to her position at Optimae Rehabilitation Services in central Iowa.

Sharon has experience in acute and subacute care, inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics and individualized, evidence-based sensory programs and interventions. As a member of the Rehabilitation Services team, she assesses individuals’ unique perspectives and backgrounds to determine how those unique aspects impact their participation and independence in life’s daily tasks.

Sharon has also earned certification as a workplace mindfulness facilitator. With this certification, she helps organizations amplify performance, counteract burnout and foster a nurturing culture in the workplace.

Sharon graduated from Grace University with a bachelor’s degree in intercultural studies; she spent 18 months of her degree work studying overseas in France and Mali. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.
