Melissa Davis, RN, has more than 10 years of experience as a home health nurse, providing valuable knowledge to her position of clinical supervisor for Optimae Home Health Services in central Iowa. Her passion involves caring for others in their home environment with a focus on mental health.
Melissa started as an RN case manager with Optimae Home Health in 2016, becoming clinical supervisor in 2019. She currently assists with managing the nurse and home health aide teams through education, supervision and hands-on training. She provides back-up assistance for visits as needed by the field team.
Prior to Optimae, Melissa served as an RN case manager starting in 2013, with a case management load exceeding 35 clients. She began her career in the medical field in 2005 first as a home health aide, then a licensed practical nurse (LPN), primarily serving the geriatric population.
Melissa graduated from the LPN program at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) before going on to complete the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program, also at DMACC.
