Haylee Rasmussen, OTD, OTR/L, has served as an occupational therapist for Optimae Rehabilitation Services since 2025. In her role, she evaluates, creates, implements and reevaluates customer-centered treatment plans while providing compassionate, comprehensive care. While providing services, Haylee enjoys meeting customers where they are, in their own environments, to help them meet their needs and goals.
Also a registered nurse (RN), Haylee has worked in long-term care, skilled nursing, acute care, med-surg and orthopedics. Believing that it is necessary to treat a person holistically to provide the best care possible, Haylee has treated people with mental health conditions even if that wasn’t their primary reason for hospitalization or placement in a long-term care facility.
Certified in Mental Health First Aid, Haylee is able to educate people about the importance of early intervention in mental health and substance use challenges, how to respond and recognize signs and symptoms, and how to provide initial support.
Haylee earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Iowa State University. She earned her occupational therapy doctorate from Drake University.
