Haley Whitlatch joined Optimae in 2018, managing billing for the company. In her current role as director of revenue cycle, Haley provides leadership and management in all areas of the revenue cycle process, including enrollment, contracting, billing, collections and metrics. She also supervises processes related to credentialing and enrollment with insurance providers, reviews all proposed contracts and agreements for financial provisions and provides leadership to credentialing and enrollment-related internal processes.
Prior to her time at Optimae, Haley served as a billing specialist, program assistant, senior counselor and direct support professional in eastern Iowa. In these roles, she had a number of responsibilities, including ensuring the accuracy of both projected and billed services for home and community-based services, managing supported community living documentation and program compliance standards, and providing direct care to individuals at supported community living locations.
Haley received her bachelor’s degree in interdepartmental studies, applied human services track and community-based services emphasis, from the University of Iowa.
