Occupational Therapist

Cheyenne Voshell, OTD, OTR/L, joins the team at Optimae Rehabilitation Services as a registered occupational therapist. She approaches OT with a holistic perspective and is passionate about providing all people with the opportunity and skills to enhance their quality of life and do the things they love.

Prior to joining Optimae, Cheyenne worked with a wide spectrum of clients with a variety of diagnoses including mental health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities, dementia, traumatic brain injuries and autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, her past experience has involved juvenile justice, acute rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation and disabilities, school-based pediatrics and behavioral/mental health. In 2022, she presented research at the World Federation of Occupational Therapy Conference in Paris, France, regarding “A Program to Promote Student Wellness During COVID-19: Occupational Therapy Adversity Allies.”

Cheyenne graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her bachelor of arts in psychology. She earned her occupational therapy doctorate (OTD) from Drake University.
