Blair Farris brings nearly a decade of experience in human services to her role as a mental health therapist at Optimae Behavioral Health Services in southeastern Iowa.

Blair’s expertise includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), crisis intervention, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, stress management, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She brings a warm, genuine and empathetic approach to her practice.

Prior to joining Optimae, Blair served as a behavioral health consultant, a crisis intervention specialist, a behavioral health intervention specialist and a peer support specialist. She also has experience in mobile crisis support, direct support, case management and child welfare investigation.

Blair earned her Masters in Social Work degree from Walden University. She earned her Bachelors in Science degree in psychology and sociology from William Penn University. Blair is completing post-graduate clinical experience under the guidance of Optimae’s clinical supervisory team, including Denise Stutes, LISW; Suzanna Mullenneaux, LMHC; and Stephanie Baumhover, LISW.

Currently, Blair sees customers in Mount Pleasant and other surrounding communities.
