April Peterson is the office manager with Optimae Home Health Services in central Iowa. She joined the company as a scheduler in 2016 before being promoted to her current role in 2020. Her duties are multifaceted and include working with insurance requirements, human resources, document management and overseeing the office staff and day-to-day operations of the home health office.
Prior to joining the Optimae team, April served in direct support roles for adults and children with special needs, spent five years in the durable medical equipment field and worked in scheduling and office support for another home health agency.
April graduated from Simpson College in 2006 with a bachelor of arts in English, bringing an eclectic knowledge base to the home health team.
