September 2, 2025 (DES MOINES, IA) – Optimae Rehabilitation Services announced today its recent recertification as an accredited rehabilitation agency, after meeting the standards set by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (QUAD A) Medicare Program for Outpatient Therapy.
The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (QUAD A) “sets the gold standard” for quality patient care. To become accredited by QUAD A, an outpatient therapy facility must demonstrate a strong commitment to consistent, fiscally responsible, patient services by complying with the most rigorous set of applicable health care guidelines available in the nation. A facility is officially recognized only after passing an annual survey conducted by qualified QUAD A surveyors and meeting QUAD A’s strict requirements in categories including general environment, personnel, general safety in the facility, medications, medical record, quality assessment and quality improvement. Accreditation through QUAD A standards assures the public that patient well-being is a facility’s top priority, helping facilities promote services and collaborate with other health care leaders.
According to QUAD A, “QUAD A facility surveyors are board certified medical specialists trained to perform a thorough and complete facility inspection. To earn its accreditation, Optimae LifeServices passed inspection on hundreds of important criteria concerning patient safety.”
