Optimae marks ten years of service in Story County

May 1, 2025 (AMES) – Optimae LifeServices, an employee-owned health care and human services organization with offices spanning more than 20 Iowa counties, is pleased to announce its ten-year anniversary of providing services to individuals with disabilities in Story County.

“Throughout the last 10 years, Optimae has consistently been eager to take on new challenges and expand services to support people in Story County,” said Meghan Freie, MSW, operations officer at Central Iowa Community Services (CICS). “We value our partnership and look forward to what’s ahead.”

In 2015, Optimae acquired Story County’s Community Life Program. Since that time, the organization has expanded throughout the Greater Ames region, providing person-centered services that now include residential sites, transitional age youth residential sites, intensive residential service homes, residential care facilities, supported community living, hourly services, supported employment and job development.

“We’re grateful to the county-wide community and our agency partners for their continued support,” said Kent Davis, who serves as marketing communications director at Optimae and lives and works in the Greater Ames area. “It’s a pleasure to serve as a collective voice that advocates for our customers as we live out our mission to assist our fellow Iowans as a recognized leader in health care and human services.”
