Heather Royer, RN, found her love and passion for home health nursing when she was introduced to Optimae in 2021, finding the core values and patient-centered focus of care to be the positive change she needed.
At Optimae Home Health Services in southeastern Iowa, Heather has served as a nurse case manager and quality assurance specialist. After a year of travel nursing, she moved into the director of quality role in 2023. With support of direct leadership, she has served as the associate administrator for the southeastern region since September 2024. Heather looks forward to partnering with Elizabeth Eland and building Optimae Home Health’s southeast Iowa branch into the future.
Heather began her career as a clinical support LPN for several years, working in many different departments and specialties in Wisconsin. She later moved to Iowa and worked as a floor nurse in a post-cardiac care unit after finishing her associate degree in nursing at Southeastern Community College.
