In her role as a clinical supervisor, Suzanna Mullenneaux oversees Optimae Behavioral Health teams based out of Fairfield, Iowa City and Ottumwa. She is a licensed mental health counselor who has been practicing mental health therapy in southeast Iowa for more than 20 years.
Suzanna is committed to building and supporting strong community connections, previously providing therapy in school-based settings in Fairfield and Mount Pleasant and has led therapy groups in both communities.
She currently works with adults and adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief and loss. She helps customers improve coping skills, problem solve and manage stress effectively.
Suzanna also oversees Optimae Behavioral Health’s training program for new therapists. She serves as the lead supervisor for the growing team of trainee therapists that Optimae is supporting in their professional development and achievement of full licensure status.
Suzanna earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Norwich University.
