Aug. 25, 2020 (FAIRFIELD) – Optimae LifeServices employees and their family members now benefit from a partnership with Upper Iowa University (UIU). As Corporate Advantage Partnership (CAP) program members, Optimae LifeServices employees, their spouses and dependent children (under the age of 26) are eligible to receive set tuition grants for courses taken at any of Upper Iowa’s 21 U.S. educational centers or through UIU distance education programs. The application fee is also waived for all participants.
“At Optimae, one of our core values is education,” said Susan Martin, chief operating officer of Optimae Services. “Offering the Corporate Advantage Partnership (CAP) program benefit to our employees and their families is an integral part of our commitment to investing in our employees’ ongoing learning.”
Optimae’s partnership with UIU, which comes at no cost to the employer, is led by the company’s knowledge acquisition and transfer (KAT) coordinator, Molly Mackey. In addition to her role at Optimae, Mackey serves as an adjunct professor, and has seen the need for flexible, adult-centered learning models firsthand.
“Helping adult learners achieve their educational dreams is a goal of Upper Iowa University,” said UIU Waterloo and Cedar Rapids Center director Jill Hansen. “We are pleased that Optimae LifeServices has chosen to partner with the University’s Corporate Advantage Partnership program. Upper Iowa strives to assist our students to gain the knowledge and education they need to excel in the classroom and careers, and we continue do so in an affordable way.”
