Sarah Morgan, LMSW, (she/they) is a community-based mental health counselor with Optimae Behavioral Health Services. Sarah serves a variety of individuals across the lifespan and specializes in substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and empowerment practice.
Sarah prioritizes person-centered care by collaborating with individuals, families and communities to focus on setting and meeting goals that build on strengths. Sarah focuses on advocating for individuals and helps identify and overcome barriers that may exist in their environment. Sarah is also a fierce advocate for social justice and understands the impact that social systems can have on individuals, families and communities.
Sarah earned her master’s degree in social work from St. Ambrose University and she is honored and excited to provide mental health services in the community that she was raised in. Sarah is completing post-graduate clinical experience under the guidance of Optimae’s clinical supervisory team, including Denise Stutes, LISW; Suzanna Mullenneaux, LMHC; and Stephanie Baumhover, LISW.
