Claudia Mast is a member of Optimae Behavioral Health Services’ crisis team in southeastern Iowa. She joined Optimae in 2018 as a licensed master social worker.
Claudia’s experience in various settings with individuals of all ages, including families and their children with developmental disabilities, has nurtured a deep respect and appreciation for the human spirit. She aspires to create a safe space to help work through life’s many obstacles and challenges from a strengths-based, family systems approach tailored to meet each individual’s needs.
Claudia has served as a medical social worker for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics since 2013. She earned her master of social work degree from Humboldt State University in 2009.
