Lisa Sotelo, MSN, is board-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) at Optimae Behavioral Health Services in the southeast Iowa region.
Lisa has worked in the health care industry for over 30 years. Her experience includes home health and hospice care nursing, geriatrics, care transition nursing and community health education, where she provided dementia training programs for families and caregivers.
Prior to Optimae, Lisa worked as an oncology specialist educating health care providers in immune therapies. Lisa is also employed by the University of Iowa and serves as a teaching assistant in health assessments and physical exam testing for medical and physician assistant students.
Lisa graduated with her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and received her graduate education at Walden University.
